Tai and Associates was founded in 1981 by Danny Tai.  When Matthew Ryan started working with Danny in 1996, they both worked hard to apply common sense principles to provide cost effective solutions to geotechnical problems. The company name was changed to Tai and Associates, PLLC in 2004 reflecting Matt's partner status. Matt has been President since Danny's retirement, and continues to carry the same basic principals of common sense solutions.
